yumi had the ct scan today about 1:30. They couldn't tell if this was or partial or full obstruction. The liquid had not reached the colon yet and so they will do an xray about 6pm tonight. I am more worried than usual because she is still experiencing a tremendous amount of pain. She can't have another dose of pain meds for about 15 minutes. So she is trying to zone out. I will post more as more happens and as my internet connection still works on my pda. Thank you for your comments & prayers!

Yumi,

I thought you could use a laugh...

Nine-year-old Joey was asked by his mother what he had learned in Sunday school.

"Well, Mom, our teacher told us how God Sent Moses behind enemy lines on a rescue mission to lead The Israelites out of Egypt. When he got to the Red Sea, he had his army build a pontoon bridge and all the people walked across safely. Then, he radioed headquarters for Reinforcements. They sent bombers to blow up the bridge and all the Israelites were saved."

"Now, Joey, is that really what your teacher taught you?" his mother asked.

"Well, no, Mom. But, if I told it the way the teacher did, you'd never believe it!"

Love you, Mrs. Davison

Hey Cutie! We pray you get well soon! Even though you are held up indoors... you look like a ray of sun light in that hospital bed. You are beaming amongst all the fabulous and colorful balloons! We truly hope you start to feel better immediately and will keep you in our prayers!
Love you, Rachel and Jimmy Mitchell

Thanks for the notes & prayers! I should note that the picture is before we went home in April after her surgery. Yumi does not let me take pictures of her w/the NG tube in her nose!

She is feeling better, though, since her last dose of dilautid @ 5:45pm.
