The Final Countdown

The resident came in just now and informed us that we are indeed on the schedule for first thing in the morning, which on weekends means about 8 or 9. We signed the consent and are pretty ready to go. We'll hopefully get a good night's sleep and be ready for the day tomorrow. Poor Yumi is a little upset about having to have the operation. Right now she's watching Hillary Duff in Cinderella Story and squeezing her stress ball that David bought for her today at the Bartell Drugs.

We had gone to BurgerMaster today for lunch and we were both still full around dinner time so we didn't eat anything. I had a Caribou Coffee Bar and I think I'm good. So pray for a quick recovery for Yumi tomorrow and most importantly, steady hands and wisdom for the surgeons.

I mentioned it in a comment I posted, but we have Monday covered for childcare and need the rest of the week covered. And if you'd like to visit, it is very welcomed as she is more motivated to get up and out of bed and moving around just like the doctors want. Call and let us know when you'd like to visit and I'll tell you how that day looks. I imagine we will be here until at least Wed or Thurs. We do appreciate the meals as well. Thank you everyone!

We here at the Townleys are praying for you all as well as the doctors. Come home soon Yumi and get well quick so you can ride your horse!

Hi again. How is that stress ball doing Yumi? We're praying for the surgery to go well and we trust that it will. We're praying for a quick recovery too. We love you. Hang in there sweetheart. Yuki, I saw that you have Monday covered for childcare and we have Tuesday and Wednesday covered already. The rest of the week will be simple as well with all the people who have offered but I wanted you to know that through Wednesday is confirmed. Amy will be talking to David about meals as well to make sure they have a plan there. Hang in there Mom! The Lord is going to bring Yumi through (and you too). I'll be waiting and checking the blog after surgery. We're praying. Love ya!
