All-Day Small Bowel Follow-Through

We went into CT this morning at 10:30, were there for 3 hours while they did the contrast, waited, xrayed, waited, xrayed, waited, and waited some more. Then they let us go to our room for 1 hour then we went back to do more pictures. Now we are back in our room and waiting another hour for more pictures. The contrast has still not made it to her colon. It's moving verrry slooooowly. Slower than they would expect. My thought is that she will indeed end up having surgery and hopefully before the weekend. Her stomach starts to bother her everytime we go down there and she's having to lay flat on her back for the pictures.

She is feeling tons better, though, because she is able to walk to xray. It's nice because it takes so long with a wheelchair. I think having her friends come yesterday helped her spirits. Aunt Mary and Uncle Steve are here right now and I'm having the luxury of typing on Mary's Mac Notebook.

Yumi just gets a kick out of your comments. Keep em coming!

So Yumi, what's slower, the traffic in your tummy or the doctors' decision making process? Ohhh, it can be a race! I'll be cheering for your tummy!! :)
