Calorie Countdown

So after lunch today Yumi started having pain again. It didn't escalate to needing IV meds but we asked for some Tylenol. The docs said to try to manage the pain with that first. I think she's doing a little better. It still sounds like things are moving a little slowly. She needs to pace herself and not eat very much at all at a sitting. The problem is, will she get enough calories?

Hi guys! How are you doing tonight? I was thinking you'd get to come home yesterday, then when that didn't happen I was hoping for tomorrow? What's it looking like? Are they talking about going home yet or not? How is the calorie counting going? Is she going to be able to maintain that kind of life at home? Is there really nothing they can do to get things moving quicker and more efficiently? We just want you to get better and come home. I bet that's what you're hoping for too. Many kids and adults are asking about you at church and are praying for you. They're all looking forward to your return. Okay, here we go: A boy and a huge dog meet the mailman at the mailbox. The mailman says, "Does your dog bite?" and the boy answers, "No." Right then the dog jumps up and bites the mailman on the arm and the mailman says, "I thought you said your dog didn't bite!?" To which the boy replied, "That's not my dog!" Another one reads that a young boy was praying at Christmas time in his bedroom as his mother and grandmother sat nearby in the family room. He was praying, "Lord, please allow me to have a new train set or a remote control car or a NEW BICYCLE! he yelled loudly. His mother came to his bedroom door and said, "Honey, God isn't deaf." To which the boy replied, "No, but grandma is!" Yuki, I found some really funny lightbulb jokes but they may slightly poke fun at different types of people and I wouldn't want to offend the doctor if he's reading. (lol) No, anyway, we did have childcare lined up for you for tomorrow but David says he has the day off so I guess you're covered. We've had NUMEROUS responses to the church e-mail regarding prayer and childcare so please let us know, Yuki, if/when you know of your needs for next week. We're hoping you'll all be home by then. Bye for now!
