The Waiting Continues . . .

Holding off on food, back to clear liquids. So far the docs have not ordered the NG tube put back in. They ordered another xray, but they haven't come to get us yet. So we are sill waiting. No more vomiting or pain since last night, so that's good!

Yumi and Yuki,
I've been thinking about you both all morning. So glad to hear that the pain has diminished.

Wow, I just got home from Ivy's soccer tourney in California and came to check on how you're doing. I was hoping you would be home by now!!

I'm sorry to hear about your setbacks! This must be getting pretty old!!

Food network? That's a bit ironic! So what's your favorite food network show? I like Good Eats... and Emeril too.

I was going to keep your daily jokes coming while I was in CA, but the stupid Hilton charges an extra $10 a day for internet access. I've stayed at Super 8s and Comfort Inns that provide free internet access, so I figured that it would be a given at a nice Hilton. So I refused to pay the extra $$$ and just went internet free for 3 days.

Ok, griping done. Here's today's joke:

DID NOAH FISH?
A Sunday school teacher asked, "Johnny, do you think Noah did a lot of fishing when he was on the Ark?"

"No," replied David. "How could he, with just two worms?"

Keep smiling!

Love, Mrs. Davison

Yumi,

Here I am to see how you're doing and no post from Mom yet today. I am going with the "no news is good news" theory.

Time for today's joke.

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD
A Sunday school teacher decided to have her young class memorize one of the most quoted passages in the Bible; Psalm 23. She gave the youngsters a month to learn the Verse.

Little Rick was excited about the task -- but, he just couldn't remember the Psalm. After much practice, he could barely get past the first line.

On the day that the kids were scheduled to recite Psalm 23 in front of the congregation, Ricky was so nervous. When it was his turn, he stepped up to the microphone and said proudly, "The Lord is my Shepherd, and that's all I need to know."

What a smart cookie that one is, huh?

I'm continuing to keep you in my prayers.

Love, Mrs. Davison

Hi Yumi! How are you feeling today? I sure hope you're feeling a bit better. We're praying for you and thinking of you often. I just wanted to let you know that many many many many people stop me at church to ask me about you. You are in the thoughts/prayers of LOTS of people! Hang in there sweetheart and I hope you get to come home soon. Yuki, you haven't posted today! Any new news regarding the doc's plans for Yumi? Are you still just waiting? Let us know. Are you reading a book? Which one? How is it? Okay, here we go (trying to keep up with Jodi): "What happens if your arms fall off?" "You can't pick them up." OR "What did the zero say to the eight?" "Nice belt!" OR An invisible person rushes into a doctor's office and the nurse says, "Stop, the Doctor can't see you right now!" Then the patient says, "But I'm shrinking!!" and the nurse says, "You'll just have to be a little patient!" I guess that's 2 jokes in one! Hope you followed it! Okay, bye for now! Love ya guys!
