This Is It!

Well, the day has finally come. Yumi has just been ordered NPO, no food or drink to prepare for surgery. Princess, our nurse, is getting ready to insert an NG tube. This time they are giving Yumi Adavan, a sedative, to help with the procedure. Please pray that is goes well. Of course, by the time you read this post it will already have been done.

So we should be having surgery within the next 24 hours, possibly 12. I will be very interested in what they will find. Yumi hasn't eaten all day and also has been vomiting. Her pain has been fairly consistent, as well.

As far as childcare and meals goes, David should probably be home with the kids by Saturday night. We would need childcare starting up again on Monday. Thank you to all who have pitched in! I hope that Danielle and Everett (Bubbs and Bort) have been a blessing to you all! Meanwhile, David is up here with me until probably tomorrow. I had planned on working tomorrow, but am scrapping that plan in leiu of what's going on.
